How to ship oversized cargo from the USA?
Cargo that exceeds the dimensions of the container must be shipped either on RO-RO vessels or using special equipment, open-top containers Open Top or Flat Rack type containers. Loading of containers of this type may only be performed by warehouses certified for loading of this type of equipment by the US Federal Maritime Commission. The Federal Maritime Commission reserves the right to inspect the securing of cargo at the port of shipment. Rates for the transportation of oversized cargo do not form a single tariff and must be requested separately for each individual shipment.
Are there any restrictions on the weight and dimensions when transporting cargo within the USA?
In the USA, as in many other countries, there are restrictions on the dimensions and weights of cargo. How to ship a car from America?
Cars are shipped from the US/Canada in containers that are specially loaded at the warehouse. In order to save space, the cars are loaded into the containers at an angle and secured to prevent the cargo from moving inside the container during transportation. To ship a car from the USA, the following documents are required:

How to get a copy of the export declaration from the USA?
The export declaration is not issued in printed form, it exists only in electronic form and is stored on closed servers of the US Customs Service. The sender has access to it, he can get it from the server of the US Customs Service and give it to you. Freight forwarders and agents in the US are prohibited from doing so under penalty of having their license revoked. Under Foreign Trade Regulations 30.60, they are prohibited from forwarding copies of export customs declarations outside the US.

After the 9/11 attacks,On September 2001, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security introduced new regulations regarding domestic and international shipments. The regulations are enforced by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Shippers who have been screened by the TSA are given known shipper status and are allowed to transport their cargo in the cargo holds of passenger aircraft. All other shippers receive the status of unknown shipper and can only ship cargo via cargo planes.
